Auto Accident RT. 41 And Penn Green Road

On Friday October 2nd 2008 at 1729 hours the company was alerted for an auto accident at the intersection of Penn Green Road and Gap Newport Pike with unknown injuries.  Moments later Chief 23 and Ambulance 23-2 arrived on scene with a two vehicle accident blocking the road way with all occupants out. A few minutes later Engine 23-1 and Squad 23 arrived on scene and checked the cars for hazards, cleaned the roadway, and helped with traffic control.  The ambulance transported to Jennersville Regional Hospital. Company Completes Two Part Burn Training at Montgomergy County

On Wednesday September 10th, 2008, and Wednesday September 17th, 2008 the Avondale fire company and a few members from West Grove Fire Company completed part one of the live burn training.   On September 20th, 2008 the 17 firefighters traveled to Montgomery County Fire Academy. Life Member Celebrates 50th  Birthday!

Auto Accident Reported Serious

At 23:10 hours the company was dispatched to an auto accident reported serious at the intersection of Goodhope Road and London Tract Roads. Chief 23 responded within two minutes of the dispatch and was advised by the fireboard that information from the caller stated that were was one subject was trapped and reported to be multiple injuries.
