Avondale Fire Company would like to thank Blittersdorf’s Towing for the services provided in our time of need.  When returning from a EMS call, Ambulance 23-2 blew a front tire.  Michael Blittersdorf who was lined up in the the Kennett Mushroom Festival Parade, left the parade and quickly came out and retrieved the crew and our ambulance.  Meanwhile at the parade our second Ambulance (23-1) was involved in a minor rear end collision during the parade, damaging the rear stoop of the ambulance making it undriveable.  Blitterdorf’s quickly removed the tires from the ambulance with the rear end (23-1) collision and installed them on the ambulance with the tire blown (23-2).  Without their help AFC would currently not have an ambulance to provide to our community.  We would like to thank Tom and Mike Blittersdorf again for their continued support of the Avondale Fire Company.
