NEW GARDEN — A remediation team is in the process of cleaning up a 400-gallon heating oil spill that occurred last Friday night (3/9/12) in the 1700 block of Baltimore Pike. According to Department of Environmental Protection spokeswoman Deborah Freese, the spill was reported Saturday morning and was the result of a transfer of oil from one above-ground tank to another that was unattended.
