On Monday, October 10th US Marine Mac McQuown made a quick over night pit stop at the 23 house.  Mac is a 50 year old retired marine who is walking 15,000 miles and visiting the lower 48 states and their capitols.  He is walking for the Veterans Miracle Network and Operation Walk USA a company which promotes awareness for fallen and injured veterans.   Mac started his journey on September 11th, 2011 in Stafford, Virginia and plans to walk 10-12 miles a day taking approx. 4 years to complete.
